HOW TO ENTER THE FESTIVAL
THIS FESTIVAL IS OPEN TO ALL AMATEUR PERFORMERS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
Irrespective of which classes you want to enter, you'll need an Entry Form, and once you've filled it in, post it to us at
BMCF, Rosscourt Hotel, St John's Road, Bournemouth BH5 1EL Our entry form caters for all entries, including solos and groups.
If you like, you can scan/photo your form then email it to us. One way or another, we need a signature, so a form is required.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
BACS transfer (20-11-39 70187453). PLEASE REMEMBER TO QUOTE A REFERENCE in the box on the entry form so we can link it to your payment.
Whilst BACS is the preferred payment method we will still accept cheques made payable to BMCF.
HOW DO I KNOW MY ENTRY HAS BEEN RECEIVED?
We will email you. Please put your email address on your entry form.
In the event of COVID cancellation, we will refund your fees. If you choose to include your own BACS codes on our form we will return your fees this way, with no deductions, otherwise we will deduct £1 to cover costs and send a cheque.
If you have any special requests (e.g. I can't come on Tuesday), then please say so on the entry form and, whilst we can't guarantee it, we will do our best to accommodate all these requests.
Approximately two weeks after the entry closing date, we'll publish the timetable on the website.
It will show the class numbers and when they will take place. It may seem obvious, but we can't really produce an accurate timetable until we know how many entries there are in any class. If you can't get to the web site, we will post the timetable to you if you enclose a self-addressed C5 envelope and the appropriate fee with your entry form.
Please note that, for security reasons, we do not publish the competitors' names on the timetable, just the classes and when they are taking place.
About one month before the competition, we produce a programme which has all the competitors' names and the order in which they will compete. This order is completely random and has nothing to do with the order in which we receive the entries. Sometimes, we shuffle the order to try to ensure that you're not the last performer in one class and the first in the next one.
If you would prefer, we will post a programme to you, if you enclose a self-addressed C5 envelope and the appropriate fee with your entry form.
ALL MUSICIANS PLEASE TAKE NOTE
An "OWN CHOICE" form is required by every choir, instrumentalist and vocalist (not Dance or Speech and Drama). You should complete one for each class you enter. Attach it to your music for the adjudicator and hand it in at our Competitors’ Table on arrival for your class.
“Own Choice” forms can be downloaded from the web site (FORMS tab) or we will post your “Own Choice” forms to you if you enclose a self-addressed C5 envelope and the appropriate fee with your entry form.
ADULT CHOIRS (not in 2021 - sorry)
....can request changing facilities at the Pavilion by completing a CHOIRS DAY form, downloadable from our website. Send it in with your entry form, or you can email it back to us.
Please note:- NO FORM MAY RESULT IN NO CHANGING FACILITIES.
